Description
Hot Chocolate
A steaming mug of pure comfort.
Wrap your hands around a heavy ceramic mug overflowing with the richest, most decadent hot chocolate you have ever tasted. Plumes of thick, dark cocoa steam rise into the cool winter air, carrying the buttery warmth of melted chocolate and sweet cream.
A mountain of fluffy vanilla marshmallows begins to melt across the surface, swirling into a generous dollop of fresh whipped cream. Before the first sip, a delicate shake of cinnamon and caramelized brown sugar is dusted over the top, wrapping you in a deeply comforting, chocolate-covered hug.

Here's the Tea · What You Actually SmellTap to open
Hot Chocolate is a rich chocolate gourmand that smells like the mug, not the candy bar: thick cocoa, soft dairy and a dusting of warm spice. It opens on dark chocolate under a cold cap of whipped cream, then marshmallow and milk melt in and turn the whole thing soft and pillowy. As it settles, cinnamon and brown sugar warm the edges while cocoa butter and vanilla sink in close, a sweet, toasty skin scent that smells like the last sip.

Sillage
Alcohol Mist
Intimate to moderate (4 out of 10)
A sweet cocoa cloud around you for the first half hour, then a bubble about a foot out. It clings longer to a knit or a scarf.
Hydrating Aloe Mist
Intimate (3 out of 10)
Soft and close from the first spritz, more milk and marshmallow than cocoa. Mostly for you, and for whoever asks what smells so good.
Longevity
Alcohol Mist
Short to moderate on skin
Estimated 3 to 5 hours on skin, longer on clothes. Mist it over the Body Butter and it goes further.
Hydrating Aloe Mist

Estimated 2 to 3 hours on skin, a little longer on clothes. A cocoa fix at your desk or in the car, zero calories. Layer it over the Body Butter to stretch it.

Body Oil
Intimate (3 out of 10)
Worn all over, so it carries a little more than a dab: a warm, buttery cocoa glow about as far as a hug. Within an hour or two it sinks into a skin scent.
Roll-On
Intimate (3 out of 10)
It stays where you roll it, wrists, neck, behind the ears. Noticed when someone leans in close enough to catch the cocoa.
Solid Perfume
Very intimate (2 out of 10)
A skin scent from the first swipe, soft as a marshmallow left in the mug. Your little secret, until someone gets close.
Longevity
Body Oil
Short to moderate on skin
Estimated 3 to 5 hours on skin, light on clothes since it sinks right in. Smooth it onto damp skin after a shower, and it goes longer under the Spray Perfume.
Roll-On
Moderate on skin
Estimated 5 to 7 hours on skin. It stays put, so there's not much on clothes. Roll it over the Body Butter for extra staying power.
Solid Perfume
Short to moderate on skin
Estimated 4 to 6 hours on skin, and almost nothing on clothes. Keep it in your purse for touch-ups, and layer it over the Body Butter to stretch it.
Concentration
Poured within this scent's IFRA limits
Same for all three.

The Layering Lab · Mix & MatchTap to open
Same mug, different pour. Keep Hot Chocolate at the center, then take it fruitier, spicier, darker after dark, or mintier for the holidays.
Raspberry Truffle Cocoa
Raspberry Sorbet drops a cold, tart scoop into the mug, so the Dark Chocolate turns into a truffle and the Whipped Cream goes pink at the edges. The Marshmallow and Milk keep it soft underneath, and the Cinnamon fades to a hint. Wear it on bright winter afternoons and Valentine's week, when you want the cocoa with a little bite.
Honey-Spiced Cocoa
Patchouli & Spiced Honey brings an earthy, amber-lit warmth, so the Cinnamon and Brown Sugar step forward and the Dark Chocolate goes deeper, like cocoa stirred over a low flame. The Whipped Cream and Marshmallow melt back into a thin sweetness, and Cocoa Butter and Vanilla finish it slow and grounded. Save it for cold evenings and candlelit dinners, when you want the mug to smell like a spice shop.
Amber Cocoa After Dark
Baltic Amber & Vanilla Bean pours in warm, sensual and woody, so the Vanilla and Cocoa Butter take the lead and the Dark Chocolate turns smooth and dark as a ganache. The Marshmallow and Milk soften into the background, and the Brown Sugar reads like the sugared rim of the glass. Wear it for date night and late dinners, when the dessert course comes with a nightcap.
Peppermint Cocoa by the Tree
Peppermint Bark brings the crunch of candy canes and a cold, minty snap, so the Dark Chocolate and Whipped Cream read like the first sip of a peppermint cocoa. The Marshmallow and Milk stay creamy underneath, and the Cinnamon and Vanilla warm the finish. Made for tree-trimming night and holiday parties, when the mug comes with a candy cane stirrer.
How to Layer: The French Girl Routine
A scent that lasts all day starts in the shower. Same scent, every layer.
Caution: Never spray on your throat area or underarms.

Where to Wear It & When to Wear ItTap to open
Wear This To
- The first snow day, a mug warming both hands and marshmallows going soft on top
- Movie night under a blanket, the cocoa tin open on the counter
- Tree-trimming night, cinnamon on the stove and the good whipped cream in the fridge
- A cold Saturday morning in your robe, the milk just coming to a simmer
- Holiday parties, parked by the cocoa bar like you came as a set
- Sledding day, when everyone comes in red-cheeked and asks who's making hot chocolate
- A rainy spring afternoon with a book and a second cup
- A dinner date that ends with dark chocolate and a dusting of cinnamon, and them asking for a sip
- The office kitchen, where the whole floor suddenly wants cocoa
Best Season
Peak season: Winter. December through February. Cold air keeps the cream and marshmallow from going heavy, so the cocoa and cinnamon read warm and toasty, right when you want a mug in both hands.
Also beautiful in: Late fall. November, when the first cold snap hits and the baking starts. Cinnamon and brown sugar sit close under a heavy coat.
Works in: Early spring. Chilly, rainy mornings still suit the cocoa and milk. Go lighter with the Hydrating Aloe Body Mist, which keeps the marshmallow and vanilla up front.
Skip it in: Summer. Heat makes the chocolate and brown sugar sit heavy. Until the first cold morning, Raspberry Truffle Cocoa in the Layering Lab is the lighter pour.
Time of Day
Morning through late evening. Mornings belong to the milk and marshmallow, the sweet side of it. By evening the dark chocolate and cinnamon take over, rich enough for dessert by the fire. Cozy over sultry, and happiest in a room with a blanket.
How to Wear It by Season
| Season | What to Wear | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Winter | Body Butter, then the Spray Perfume | The shea holds the cocoa butter and vanilla on dry winter skin, and the spray puts the dark chocolate out front for the biggest trail on the page |
| Winter nights | Solid Perfume, one swipe before the fire | The closest wear on the page, keeping the chocolate and vanilla between you and the person on the next cushion |
| Holiday season | Body Butter Shimmer and Argan Gloss Hair Mist | Party season gets the shimmer, plus a flash of cocoa and cream when you toss your hair |
| Late fall | Body Oil after your shower, then the Alcohol Body Mist | The oil sinks in warm and buttery, and the mist puts the cream and marshmallow out front early |
| Fall evenings | Roll-On at the wrists and collarbone | Pulse points run warm, so the cinnamon and vanilla rise as the temperature drops |
| Early spring | Hydrating Aloe Body Mist and Argan Milk Hair Mist | Light and soft, so the milk and marshmallow lead while the dark chocolate sits back |
