Honey, Hush is a floral honeyed vanilla, warmer and more sophisticated than a straight gourmand, but softer and more wearable than a true white floral. The first spray is bright neroli sitting on top of warm honey, milky cream and vanilla, so it opens sweet and smooth, with just enough floral lift to keep it grown. As it settles, amber, musk, sandalwood and tonka bean slide in underneath, and it dries down to a warm, powdery, honeyed skin scent that sits close and keeps them guessing.

Peak season: Fall into early winter. October through December. Cold air makes the honey and amber read warmer and richer, and that creamy dry down is exactly what you want under all your layers.

Also beautiful in: Late spring. Cool mornings and rainy days bring the neroli forward, so it reads clean and bright instead of cozy. Lighter jacket, same attitude.

Works in: Deep winter. January and February are fine, but dry indoor heat is rough on any scent. Smooth on the Body Butter first and let it hold the honey close.

Skip it in: High summer. Heat pushes the honey and vanilla past sweet and into heavy. The exception is a cool late-summer evening, when it works again.
