Description

Adam Ate It Too

Yes, I got y'all cursed. I said I was sorry. But girl, he took me there.

Lean in close so I can spill the tea. I have been the villain far too long, and this hinoki tree is the only one who's heard my side. For the record, it never said apple. Go read it. It says fruit. Y'all picked the apple, and it suits me. Now, I'm not about to put a lie on top of a sin, so I'll say it. That fruit was good. Apple or not, it was crisp. Good enough to make me sin. Juicy enough to run down my wrist, dark and sweet like a ripe plum. The Lord was clear and the Lord was fair. That part is on me, and I have apologized to Him and to every woman who ever had a cramp. But Adam? This man was standing right there. Ate his half without a word, then ran for the fig leaves like that was a plan. The second the questions started, he pointed at me. "The woman." Last week I was "bone of my bones," and now I'm "the woman"? He even tried to put it on the Lord for making me. Sir. Thought he'd point his way out of there smelling like roses. And the snake? Strolled up on legs he doesn't have anymore, all mouth and no shame. Now he's on his belly, still sliding into women's DMs. Then they did our girl Snow White the same way. A different story and a different apple, but the same hustle.

So this one is for my rebellious women. The ones who own their part, apologize when it's due, and refuse to carry one ounce of his. On my way out, I didn't cry and I didn't beg. I packed. Apples, because I already paid for those. Jasmine for my hair, because a woman leaves looking good. And a cutting from my hinoki tree, for the peace that shows up the day you stop explaining yourself. Let them keep telling it wrong. If I got kicked out of the garden, then "bone of my bones" got kicked out right along with me.

Here's the Tea · What You Actually SmellTap to open

Adam Ate It Too is a woodsy, fruity floral with a clean streak and a little bite. It opens on bright apple and dusky plum, then softens into ripe fig, jasmine and a deep Turkish rose that make the fruit feel grown. As it dries down, pale hinoki wood, smooth vanilla and soft musk settle in close, calm and clean, like the argument is over and you won.

All about our Spray Perfume

Sillage

Moderate (6 out of 10)

A crisp, fruity trail that reaches arm's length for the first three hours or so, apple out front and rose right behind it. Around hour four the hinoki pulls it in, and it wears as a clean skin scent for anyone who leans in.

Longevity

Moderate on skin

Estimated 6 to 8 hours on skin. It holds on to scarves, collars and sweaters into the next day, and it goes longer layered over the Body Butter.

Concentration

Poured within this scent's IFRA limit

Every Sugar Mama's scent is poured at its own IFRA maximum. Want the IFRA details? Just ask and we'll send them.

Dry Down

First 30 Minutes (Top Notes)

Apple, Plum. The bite comes first, crisp and bright, with dark plum juice right behind it. Loud for a minute, then it finds its manners.

30 Minutes to 3 Hours (Middle Notes)

Fig, Jasmine, Turkish Rose. The fruit goes soft and ripe, the jasmine opens up, and the rose adds a little nerve. This is the part people ask about.

3 to 8 Hours (Base Notes)

Hinoki Wood, Vanilla, Musk. Pale, clean wood with vanilla and musk underneath. Case closed. This is what's left on your collar when the day is done.

Intimate (3 out of 10)

Soft and close from the first spritz, more fig and jasmine than crunch. Mostly for you, and whoever leans in to ask.

Estimated 4 to 6 hours on skin, longer on clothes. Mist it over the Body Butter and it goes further.

Hydrating Aloe Mist

Apple and Plum flash in quick, then Fig, Jasmine and Turkish Rose come in behind them and do most of the talking. Hinoki Wood, Vanilla and Musk keep it clean on your skin until it fades around hour six.

Hydrating Aloe Mist (Soft and Fresh)

No alcohol kick, so the Apple comes in gentle and the Fig leads early. Jasmine and Musk keep it soft and close until it fades around hour three.

Body Oil

Intimate to moderate (4 out of 10)

Worn all over, so it carries more than a dab, a warm, fruity glow about as far as a hug. Within a couple of hours it melts into a clean skin scent.

Roll-On

Intimate to moderate (4 out of 10)

It stays where you roll it, wrists, neck and behind the ears, but it speaks up more than you'd expect. Noticed whenever someone leans in close enough to catch the rose.

Solid Perfume

Very intimate (2 out of 10)

A skin scent from the first swipe, soft and clean. Yours alone, until someone gets close.

Longevity

Body Oil

Short to moderate on skin

Estimated 4 to 6 hours on skin, light on clothes since it sinks right in. Smooth it on damp skin after a shower, and it goes longer under the Spray Perfume.

Roll-On

Moderate on skin

Estimated 6 to 8 hours on skin. It stays put, so there's not much on clothes. Roll it over the Body Butter for extra staying power.

Solid Perfume

Short to moderate on skin

Estimated 4 to 6 hours on skin, and almost nothing on clothes. Keep it in your purse for touch-ups, and layer it over the Body Butter to stretch it.

Concentration

Poured within this scent's IFRA limits

Same for all three.

Want the IFRA details? Just ask and we'll send them.

Dry Down

Body Oil (Silky and Warm)

No alcohol blast, so Apple and Plum open low and juicy. Fig, Jasmine and Turkish Rose warm up fast on your skin, then Hinoki Wood, Vanilla and Musk settle into a glowy, clean skin scent that fades around hour six.

Roll-On (Close and Steady)

A little brighter at the first roll, with the Apple up front. Then it holds steady, Jasmine and Turkish Rose in the middle, and Hinoki Wood and Musk keep it close to the skin until around hour eight.

Solid Perfume (Creamy and Soft)

It melts with body heat, so the Apple stays quiet. Fig and Jasmine come through right away, the shea makes it creamy, and Vanilla and Musk keep it soft until it fades around hour six.

A clean first mist of Apple, then Jasmine comes through soft. Hinoki Wood and Musk leave a light, fresh warmth in your hair until it fades around hour three.

A brighter first spray of Apple and Plum, then Fig, Jasmine and Turkish Rose give it a ripe, rosy middle. Vanilla and Musk leave a soft shine that lasts until around hour five.

Argan Milk Hair Mist (Creamy and Soft)

Soft from the start, so the Plum barely shows. Fig and Jasmine melt into the argan for a creamy, floral finish, and Vanilla keeps it cozy until around hour four.

All about our Body Butter and Body Butter Shimmer

Sillage

Moderate (5 out of 10)

Worn all over, so it reads as a real scent, not just lotion. A fruity, rosy glow for the first hour or two, then a clean, cozy skin bubble.

Longevity

Short to moderate on skin

Estimated 4 to 6 hours on skin. It carries onto your sweaters and sheets, and it's the best base to layer the Spray Perfume or Body Mist over.

Concentration

Poured within this scent's IFRA limit

Made for skin, head to toe.

Want the IFRA details? Just ask and we'll send them.

Dry Down

First 30 Minutes (Top Notes)

Apple, Plum. Softer than the spray, since there's no alcohol to lift it. A juicy hello while you smooth it in.

30 Minutes to 2 Hours (Middle Notes)

Fig, Jasmine, Turkish Rose. The shea wraps around the fruit and the flowers, so it turns ripe and velvety the second it hits warm skin.

2 to 6 Hours (Base Notes)

Hinoki Wood, Vanilla, Musk. It lands close and clean, pale wood over soft vanilla. This is the part you catch on your wrist when you reach for your keys.

The Layering Lab · Mix & MatchTap to open

Same garden, four ways out. Keep Adam Ate It Too at the center, then take it darker, sweeter, brighter, or quieter.

Snakeskin Boots

Adam Ate It Too +

Vintage Vixen brings her seductive, slightly dangerous mood, so the Apple turns dark and glossy and the Plum sinks deep. The Musk and Vanilla pull in warm and close, and the Turkish Rose keeps an edge on it. Wear it on fall nights when you dressed for the drama and left before it started.

Candy Apple Alibi

Adam Ate It Too +

Caramel Buttercream is pure sweet-tooth comfort, and it coats the Apple like it's the county fair. The Vanilla goes rich and buttery, the Fig turns jammy, and the Hinoki Wood keeps it from going full dessert. For pumpkin patches, Halloween parties, and anyone who swears you look innocent.

Eden at Brunch

Adam Ate It Too +

Lemon Rose Water lets the sunshine in, fresh and sparkling, so the Turkish Rose and Jasmine bloom bigger and the Apple turns crisp and green. The Plum and Fig lighten up, and the Musk keeps it clean underneath. Wear it to spring brunch, a garden wedding, or any daytime plan where you're keeping your story short.

Done Explaining

Adam Ate It Too +

The Silent Treatment builds a quiet fortress around the whole thing, so the Hinoki Wood stands taller and the Musk goes soft and still. The Apple and Jasmine sit back, polite but unbothered. Wear it the morning after the blowup, when you have nothing left to say and nowhere you'd rather be.

How to Layer: The French Girl Routine

A scent that lasts all day starts in the shower. Same scent, every layer.

Everyday: Close and Personal

  1. Step out of the shower and skip the towel. Smooth Body Oil or Body Butter all over damp skin to seal in the moisture, then let it air-dry while you get ready.
  2. Mist all over with the Alcohol Body Mist for a little more presence, or the Hydrating Aloe Body Mist for a soft, up-close scent at work.
  3. Finish with a spritz of Silk & Aloe Hydrating Hair Mist for a soft halo every time you move. Keep it in your bag to refresh.

Special Occasion: Be Noticed

  1. Start the same way: Body Oil on damp skin, straight out of the shower.
  2. Layer the Alcohol Body Mist all over.
  3. Add the Spray Perfume to your wrists and pulse points.
  4. Finish with Argan Gloss Hair Mist for shine and a trail when you flip your hair.

Caution: Never spray on your throat area or underarms.

Scent combinations are personal. These are impressions to explore; the balance will vary with your chosen formats and application.

Where to Wear It & When to Wear ItTap to open

Wear This To

  • The first crisp October morning, when you already said sorry once and meant it
  • The family dinner where somebody brings up what you did in 2019. Own it, pass the rolls
  • The team meeting where they look at you for a mistake that isn't yours
  • Apple picking with the girls, first bite yours, no explanations
  • Thanksgiving, seated across from the uncle who still tells your story wrong
  • The first date after the breakup. Light, bright, and carrying nothing that isn't yours
  • A spring garden wedding, jasmine in your hair and zero drama on your plate
  • The Halloween party where you came as Eve, apple in hand, daring anyone to say a word
  • Any room where somebody tries to hand you his half. Hand it right back

Best Season

Peak season: Fall. September through November. Orchard weather makes the apple and plum read crisp and juicy, and the hinoki wood and vanilla feel right under a light coat.

Also beautiful in: Spring. March through May, when everything is back in bloom. The jasmine and Turkish rose step forward, so it reads fresh and floral instead of cozy.

Works in: Winter. December through February, especially for the holidays. Dry indoor heat is tough on any scent, so smooth on the Body Butter first and let the musk hold it close.

Skip it in: Summer afternoons. July and August heat pushes the fig and vanilla toward syrupy. Summer nights are fine, so save it for after sunset.

Time of Day

Morning through evening. The apple and jasmine keep it bright enough for the office, while hinoki wood and musk carry it into dinner. Clean, grown and a little bit smug, so it works all day and never needs a nightcap.

How to Wear It by Season

Season What to Wear Why
Fall Body Butter and Argan Gloss Hair Mist The butter holds the fig and vanilla close all day, and the gloss sends up a flash of apple every time you turn your head
Fall evenings Roll-On on your wrists and neck Warm pulse points bring the rose and hinoki wood up as the air cools down
Holiday season Body Oil on damp skin, then the Spray Perfume The biggest trail on the page over warm, glowy skin, for parties where you plan to be the topic
Winter Body Butter Shimmer, with the Solid Perfume in your bag Winter skin drinks scent fast, so the shea holds it and the solid rides along for touch-ups
Spring Hydrating Aloe Body Mist and Silk & Aloe Hydrating Hair Mist Light and dewy, so the jasmine and rose take the lead
Summer nights Alcohol Body Mist and Hair Wave Mist Bright and breezy, apple up front and plenty of air between you and the heat
